Short Course 27th November to 18th December - Reducing the stress and guessing out of having a new baby!

Like to join a short course running for 4 weeks from 27th Novemeber 1-2.30pm and learn about preparing for your new baby, bathing techniques, swaddling demonstration, what to buy, causes of a crying baby, feeding tips for bottle or breast fed babies, childcare options etc.? Classes in Cheltenham will start at 1pm- and Mums or Mums to be can come along and ask any questions that they may have,  the more formal part will commence at 1.30 with time for a chat and a drink at the end. This is a great way to

get unique advice/ask questions

learn how to relax more, save time, money and energy

*All based on hands on training (NAMCW, Post N.Depression training, Montessori teaching, + Coaching Courses) and over 20 years experience in the field of nannying and maternity nursing.

Whilst some parents have heard of Montessori Education there are others that haven't, so here is a bit more to enlighten you further. Mini Montessori is about educating your pre-school child to help them reach their potential using this unique and individual learning method. Children are encouraged to learn using their senses and the environment they will predominantly use natural materials, ie. wood, china, etc. Montessori observed that given the choice, children prefer to use "real" items, so we teach them how to handle items correctly. Most pieces of equipment have their own "built in" system of error, so your child learns to self-correct without the need for adult intervention, which also helps build a child's self esteem. Children are given freedom within the class and taught on a one to one basis although we also do group work as well and encourage social and emotional skills. Following this system your child is not under any pressure to compete and will develop at his/her own rate. Activities are graded and move from the concrete to the abstract, so your child gains a full understanding of a concept before moving on to the next. Above all, we aim to exceed your expectations and teach your child in a fun and stimulating environment.
